GRANITE
Granite is derived by the crystal fractionation of magma. It consists of minerals such as feldspars, quartz, magnetite, garnet, zircon, mica. Granite is formed in place by extreme metamorphism. The colors of granite are dependent on the origin of the material it comes from. Because of its density, granite is recommended in areas such as kitchens, restaurants, and other areas that require dense, low maintenance stone. A sealer is recommended for all natural stone applications.
